Shaikha Ahmad, is known for her exceptional leadership in Human Resources industry. With a diverse background encompassing prominent organizations such as Du Telecom, Dubai semi-government, and private companies, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role.

Since assuming her position in January 2023, Shaikha Ahmad has started the process of refining the internal structure of Dubai Media, focusing on developing skills, performance, and engagement, to further enrich a company with a valuable legacy like Dubai Media.

Recognizing the importance of nurturing local talents, Shaikha Ahmad has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at encouraging young Emirati talent and incorporating them into Dubai Media’s corporate social responsibility framework. She aims to focus on preparing Emirati talents for next level and prepare future successors. She emphasizes the significance of diversification within the company’s structure while investing in the advancement of automation, digital learning, and fostering a performance-driven culture. Ms. Ahmad strives for a lean organizational structure with minimal bureaucracy, prioritizing agility, and simplicity in all aspects of the company’s operations.

Drawing inspiration from esteemed role models such as Ghazi AlQusaibi, renowned for his structured approach to business, and Franklin Covey, known for his leadership principles, Shaikha Ahmad’s vision is guided by the visionary leadership of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum UAE vice president, UAE prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. She aims to instill a similar sense of purpose and direction within Dubai Media.

Prior to her current role, Shaikha Ahmad held the position of Head of Talent Acquisition & Employee Experience at Du Telecom, where she demonstrated her ability to drive talent acquisition and employee experience. She led teams responsible for enhancing human capital development, streamlining talent acquisition processes, and fostering strong links between employees and HR. She actively supported Emiratization efforts, contributing to organizational strategies in this area.

Shaikha Ahmad’s earlier experience includes serving as the Head of HR for Enterprise Business & Tech Solutions, where she successfully implemented key projects and frameworks to enhance human capital development. She oversaw recruitment, Emiratization initiatives, learning and development programs, and executed strategic HR initiatives and programs.

Shaikha Ahmad’s passion for HR extends beyond her professional engagements. She actively participated in assessment centers, conducted management development programs, and provided training on assessment techniques.
